I stayed at Surfsong for 8 nights in December 2011 as part of a well earned rest and luxurious treat. From the moment I contacted Surfsong to make enquiries and secure my booking, the service was excellent and Martina, Simon & Cate went out of their way to ensure that I had everything I needed. Upon arrival, following a warm welcome, Cate took the time to explain how to get around and where things were in the local area and throughout the course of my stay arranged trips for me including diving and a visit to a local bar to meet people. I was travelling on my own for the first time so it was really lovely to be looked after and cared for by everyone there. I stayed in 2 villas throughout my stay both of which had been lovingly built and decorated, each with their own unique features such as beautiful wood carved furniture and stone showers. I am very particular when it comes to where I stay and I was delighted. I ate at Surfsong's restaurant on one night and the food, lovingly prepared by Chef Suzanne, was outstanding - fresh, vibrant & healthy, the meal was simply delicious and the outside seating area where we dined, elegantly lit by fairy lights & the moonlight created a wonderful atmosphere and night to remember. Surfsong is a peaceful haven in a fabulous location overlooking the sea and with its own beach, meditation and various seating areas including a beautiful under cover pergola. It is a place where you may enter as strangers but will most definitely leave as friends.
