What a relaxing, wonderful place to stay! My husband and I celebrated our 15 year anniversary at Surfsong. We stayed in Seashell. Loved everything about it! We were blessed to stay 5 nights, though we would have loved to stay much longer. We practically had the resort to ourselves, which was a lot of fun. The views were outstanding--Our bedroom was comfortable and spacious. We could hear the ocean wave all night long, even with the windows closed and the air conditioner on. The living/dining/kitchen area was great too. We bought most of our groceries and cooked--the kitchen was well stocked and organized. Everything was clean, and the housekeeper straightened things up every day. Cate was a wonderful hostess--fun to talk to and a wealth of information!! I do suggest renting a car with 4 wheel drive, especially if you want to explore some terrific, private beaches. Our favorite was Little Bay, which was about 10 minutes away. We also liked Josiah's Bay as well as Long Bay. Cate had a beach umbrella and large cooler for us to use, so we just packed food and drinks and off to our tropical paradise we went! We also enjoyed using the snorkeling equipment and the kayaks. Surfsong isn't the least expensive place to stay, but they have great deals in the Spring/Summer, and every penny spent was worth it. Thank you for the best time. I hope we will be able to come again someday.
