You go as a stranger and come away feeling like family. Everyone at Surfsong takes care of you - from the first time we e-mailed till today (a week after) - I miss Surfsong and everyone there. Cate, Simon & Martina - you guys rock!
Anything we asked for we got. Any help we needed was given. Simon helped organise a jeep rental before we arrived and a dinner reservation. Martina recommended a great place for breakfast and helped us route our 2 day excursion around the island. Cate was just always there, quietly in the background, with a smile making sure it ran like clockwork. And it does you won't even notice it.
Pick a room or a villa. You can't go wrong. We had the Treehouse and it was perfect for the two of us.
We also took one of the meal plans - we're on vacation! - and didn't regret a moment of it. Breakfast could have been more substantial and a little more varied but otherwise very nothing to complain about. Lunch and Dinner was fabulous. We were impressed from our arrival meal to the last morsel of our amazing dessert. Suzanne Allen - you're brilliant! Each meal was fresh, healthy and delicious.
We recommend this very very highly and would go back in a heart beat. We're recommending this to all our friends who want a quiet break from the frenzy that can be life.
